Return & Refund Policy
We stand by our quality and artistry. Please inspect items upon arrival.
Step 1: Inspect Promptly: Check contents upon receipt.
Step 2: Identify Issue (Valid Reasons Only - Standard Items): Transit Damage (item itself), Incorrect Item Received, Verifiable Manufacturing Defect (significant flaw beyond handcrafted nature), Missing Items.
Step 3: Notify Customer Service WITHIN 7 CALENDAR DAYS: Contact us (Email preferred: Folkformint@gmail.com) within 7 calendar days of documented delivery. Provide Order Number, detailed issue description, and clear photographic evidence.
Step 4: Await Return Authorization (RA): Review takes approx. 72 business hours. If approved, receive RA number & instructions. Do not return without RA.
Step 5: Package and Ship Return: Repack securely (original condition/packaging). Mark RA clearly. Use trackable shipping.
Step 6: Return Shipping Costs:

Customer Pays Initially: You are responsible for initial return shipping costs.

Reimbursement for Errors/Defects: If the return is confirmed by Folk Form upon inspection to be due to our error (wrong item) or a verifiable manufacturing defect, we will reimburse your standard return shipping cost (proof of cost required) OR provide a pre-paid label where feasible.
- Costs for returns due to other reasons (where accepted exceptionally) or refused customs are not reimbursed.
Step 7: Inspection & Resolution: Allow approx. 7 business days after receipt for inspection.
Valid Return: Refund (item value + potentially original shipping if our error) processed to original payment method (5-15 business days initiation), OR agreed exchange shipped.
Invalid Return: Contact you to discuss options (e.g., return item to you at your expense).
Non-Returnable Items & Handcrafted Nature:
Custom-Made items: See Custom-Made (Made-to-Measure) Orders Policy Section for specific policy (alteration/credit possibility).
Standard Items: No returns for change of mind, wrong size ordered (check size guides carefully), slight color variations.
Handcrafted Variations: Our items are artisanal. Minor variations in weave regularity, slight color nuances within a dye lot, tiny print imperfections inherent in hand-screening/block printing, or slight dimension differences are not considered defects but part of the unique charm. Returns are only accepted for significant deviations or flaws affecting usability/aesthetics beyond this inherent character.
Returns/Refunds/Alterations for Custom Orders:
Due to personalization, custom orders are generally non-refundable and non-returnable.

Fit Adjustment: We want you to love the fit. If, despite accurate measurements provided by you, the garment requires minor fit adjustments upon arrival, we offer one complimentary alteration service. You are responsible for shipping costs to return the garment to us and for us to ship it back to you after alteration. Contact Customer Service within 7 days of receipt to arrange this.

If alteration is deemed impractical by us, we may offer a store credit equivalent to a percentage (e.g., 30-50%) of the item's base price, at our discretion.

Manufacturing Defects: In the rare case of a verifiable manufacturing defect (unrelated to fit or handcrafted variations), notify us within 7 days per Return & Refund Policy (International Orders) Section.
Order Modifications & Cancellations Policy
Due to our commitment to prompt international dispatch (processing within 1-3 business days), the window for changes is very limited.
Step 1: Identify Need: Realize you need to change/cancel.
Step 2: Contact IMMEDIATELY: Use fastest methods - Email (URGENT in subject) or Hotline (during operating hours) - see Contacting Us & Support Hours Section
Step 3: Cancellation Request: We will make every reasonable effort to cancel if contacted before the order enters the shipping process (label generated/assigned to shipment). Successful cancellation confirmed via email; full initial refund processed within 5-15 business days.
Step 4: Modification Request: Shipping Address: May be possible if requested immediately before label creation. Confirmation sent if successful.
Item Changes: Generally not possible post-payment. Recommend requesting cancellation (if feasible) and placing a new order.
We cannot guarantee modifications.
Step 5: Order Shipped / Custom Production Started: Modifications or cancellations are not possible once shipped or custom production has begun. Refer to Return Policy (Return & Refund Policy (International Orders) Section) for standard items upon receipt. Custom items are generally non-cancellable/non-returnable post-confirmation (See Custom-Made (Made-to-Measure) Orders Policy Section).
