This document outlines the comprehensive policies governing your shopping experience with us at folk-form.com. We are dedicated to bringing the rich tapestry of Asian, particularly Vietnamese, cultural heritage to the world through exquisite, high-end, handcrafted silk scarves and apparel. Our commitment is to quality, artistry, cultural integrity, and a positive customer experience. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Website Usage & Account Responsibility

  • Eligibility: You confirm you are at least 18 or using the site under parental/guardian supervision, with legal capacity to contract.
  • Promotional Communications: Opt-out available via unsubscribe link in emails.
  • Accuracy: We strive for accuracy. Handcrafted variations are expected (See Section 11). Significant discrepancies should follow the Return Policy.
  • Account Security (If Applicable): If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and restricting access to your computer/account.

3. Pricing, Currency & Taxes Policy

  • Transaction Currency: All final transactions are processed in United States Dollars (USD).
  • Displayed Prices: Product prices on the website are shown in USD and represent the base cost before shipping or potential custom surcharges.
  • Currency Conversion: Any display of prices in local currency is an estimate only based on fluctuating exchange rates and is for informational purposes. The final charge will be in USD.
  • Shipping Costs: Calculated at checkout based on order value and destination (See International Shipping Policy Section including Costs, Processing, Timelines, Issues).
  • Custom-Made Surcharge: A 10% surcharge on the base item price applies to custom orders. This is calculated after measurement confirmation and invoiced separately before production begins (See Custom-Made (Made-to-Measure) Orders Policy Section).
  • Your Bank's Fees: Your bank/card provider determines the final exchange rate and may add international transaction fees; these are your responsibility.
  • Import Duties & Taxes: Prices are exclusive of any destination country's import duties, taxes (VAT, GST), or customs fees. These are the recipient's sole responsibility (See International Shipping Policy Section including Costs, Processing, Timelines, Issues).
  • Pricing Accuracy: We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before processing. We will contact you to confirm or cancel if an error occurs.

4. Accepted Payment Methods & Secure Processing

We offer secure payment options for the initial order value:

  • Credit Card: Secure online payment via major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express - specific options shown at checkout) processed through an encrypted, PCI DSS compliant gateway.
  • Bank Transfer: Direct bank transfer in USD. Details in Section 2. Please allow 1-3 business days after you initiate the transfer for funds to be received and confirmed by us before order processing begins. Proof of transfer may expedite this.

Crucial Payment Notes:

  • Full Initial Payment Required: Order processing begins only after successful receipt of the full initial payment (items + applicable shipping).
  • Custom Surcharge Payment: Handled separately via secure link/invoice before custom production starts (See Custom-Made (Made-to-Measure) Orders Policy Section).
  • NO Cash on Delivery (COD): COD is unavailable for all international orders.
