Our rule of thumb for motifs is simple: a dragon marks what somebody did. A promotion is exactly that, and a crimson dragon tie is something he can wear into the new role.
Crimson is a deep red, a color for a dark suit and an important room. We also weave this dragon in red; compare the two in the photos and choose the shade he would wear.
The dragon is woven into 100% mulberry silk as jacquard. 8 cm wide, 145 cm long. Made in our Hanoi atelier.

A dragon for achievement, drawn gently
The dragon on this tie comes from the Ly Dynasty: about two hundred years of Vietnamese art centered on the capital that is now Hanoi. In our motif guide it stands for success, strength and wisdom.
But the Ly dragon is not a trophy animal. Ly artists gave it a slender body without scales, three claws, and often a pearl at the mouth. Its forehead mark is the old character for thunder, and thunder meant rain for the harvest: a wish for a good year.
That balance is why it works for a promotion. It honors the success without boasting about it.

It leaves Hanoi within 1 to 3 business days and reaches a US address 9 to 15 business days later.

Duties and returns
Duties: Folk Form pays the US import duty. Nothing is collected on delivery.
Returns: within 30 days, unused, unwashed and unworn, in the original box. Return postage for a change of mind is paid by you. Choose store credit and we add 15% to it.

Among these, the "burn test" is the most effective and definitive method. Here are the characteristics of different materials when subjected to the burn test:
