Colorful jewelry usually means buying clothes to go with it. Black and gray marbled silk works the other way round: it joins what you already wear and adds texture instead of color.
The silk is marble dyed, so black and gray drift into each other and no two beads carry quite the same mix. About 180 of them, wrapped by hand over wooden cores and knotted in place, on a 44-inch loop.
We pay the import duty, not you.

What marble dyeing does to a necklace
Marble dyeing lets two colors run into each other on the silk instead of sitting inside a printed outline. Wrapped around a bead, that becomes a small cloud of gray on black, or black on gray.
From across a room the strand reads as dark and even. Close up it has movement, like the grain in a polished stone, which is where the name comes from.
Marble necklaces cost the same as our plain ones, $64. The printed versions, at $75, carry a hand screen-printed motif instead.

Is it real silk?
Yes, mulberry silk, marble dyed in black and gray, then wrapped around each bead by hand.

Is it too plain to be worth $64?
It is quiet by design. The value is in the work: roughly 180 beads covered one at a time and knotted along the cord. There is no metal or stone inflating the price.
Printed necklaces are $75 because their silk is screen printed a color at a time. Marble and plain are $64. All of them are made in our own Hanoi atelier and sent direct.

Duties and returns
Duties: we pay the US import duty for you.
Returns: 30 days, unused and unworn, in the original box. Change-of-mind return postage is on you. Store credit comes with 15% added.
