A beach ceremony changes the rules for the groom. Wool looks wrong on sand, and shorts look wrong in the photographs. Flat-front linen trousers in beige sit between the two.
These are our 1920s flat-front cut: a clean front with no pleats. They are made from linen and rayon in a plain weave, and cut for your order in our own atelier.

Why beige for the groom
Beige sits with sand, rope, driftwood and a white shirt without effort. It lets the bride's white stay the brightest thing in every frame.
There is no pattern and no print. Our silk carries Ly and Tran Dynasty motifs; our linen is deliberately the plain side of the studio.

Larger than US 38, or want a specific inseam? Every pair is cut to order in our Hanoi atelier. Reply to your order confirmation with your waist, hip and inseam. Our team confirms within one business day, and tailoring adds 3 to 5 business days before dispatch. Once your measurements are confirmed, we send a secure link for the 10% made-to-measure surcharge. Made-to-measure pieces are not covered by our 30-day return and include one complimentary alteration instead.
Is it pure linen?
No. They are cut from a linen and rayon blend in a plain weave.
Why $126
Our linen clothing costs between $105 and $170, well below our silk clothing. These trousers are $126.
Each pair is cut to order in our own atelier and sent direct, with the import duty covered. A made-to-measure pair is 10% more.
Will they arrive before the wedding?
Standard sizes: 1 to 3 business days in Hanoi, then 9 to 15 business days to a US address. Order at least four weeks out.
Made to measure: add 3 to 5 business days. Plan on five weeks or more.
What if they do not fit?
Standard sizes can come back within 30 days, unworn and unwashed, in their original box.
Change-of-mind return postage is paid by you. Take store credit and we add 15%.
Made to measure sits outside the 30-day return, with one complimentary alteration included.
Buying them for the groom
Bride, sister or best man: check his waist against the chart before you order. They arrive gift boxed, with a handwritten note if you leave one in Order Notes, and no price in the parcel.
