Our 1930s strap dress hangs straight from the shoulder, with no print. It is cut from a plain-woven blend of linen and rayon, to order, in our atelier in Hanoi.
For a small ceremony on a beach or at city hall, it can be the dress itself. Standard sizes run US 4 to 14; made to measure, at 10% more, lets you set the length.

Why plain white for the week
A bride is photographed all week, not just on the day. A solid white dress with no pattern looks bridal in every picture without pretending to be a second gown.
The weave shows its texture, so the white reads as summer cloth rather than satin. Next to heirloom earrings or a small bouquet, that plainness helps.
It is also the calm side of our studio. Our silk scarves carry Ly and Tran Dynasty motifs; our linen leaves all of that out.

These are body measurements, not garment measurements. The 1930s cut falls straight from the shoulder, so it skims rather than fits close.

Larger than US 14, or want a different length? Every dress is cut to order in our Hanoi atelier, up to a 46 in / 117 cm bust. Reply to your order confirmation with your bust, waist and preferred length. Our team confirms within one business day, and tailoring adds 3 to 5 business days before dispatch. Once your measurements are confirmed, we send a secure link for the 10% made-to-measure surcharge. Made-to-measure pieces are not covered by our 30-day return and include one complimentary alteration instead.
Is it pure linen?
No. The fabric is a plain-woven mix of linen and rayon, with the texture of linen. That is exactly how the product spec describes it.

Our linen clothing runs from $105 to $170, and this dress sits at the top. Silk clothing from our studio begins at $173.
The price covers a dress made for your order in our own Hanoi atelier and posted direct, with the import duty already paid. Tailored to your measurements, it is 10% more.
Will it arrive before the wedding week?
Standard sizes: allow 1 to 3 business days to dispatch and 9 to 15 business days of US delivery. Order a month ahead, to leave some slack.
Made to measure: add 3 to 5 business days. If you plan to marry in it, give it six weeks.
What if the size is wrong?
Standard sizes can come back within 30 days, unworn and unwashed, in their original box.
Change-of-mind return postage is paid by you. Take store credit and we add 15%.
Made to measure sits outside the 30-day return, with one complimentary alteration included.
A gift for the bride
Shopping for a bridal shower, or for your sister? Check her bust and waist against the chart.
It arrives gift boxed. Write your message in Order Notes and we copy it by hand onto a card. There is no price anywhere in the parcel.
