Vermilion is a warm, clear red, woven as silk jacquard. The matching cufflinks share the box, so the festive detail is complete at both wrist and collar.

It leaves Hanoi within 1 to 3 business days and reaches a US address 9 to 15 business days later. Free shipping on orders $90+, otherwise a flat $20.
Where the name comes from
Vermilion is a color, not a pattern, and the tie carries no symbol. The word does have a history in our studio: it is the red of the lacquered ironwood columns in historic Vietnamese temples.
On a tie that red does something simple. Against a navy or charcoal suit it looks like celebration without shouting, and at a dinner table it gives the room one warm point of color.
Because the tie is woven rather than printed, the red lives in the threads. The knot, which takes the most wear, has no ink on it to crack.

Is it real silk?
Yes, 100% mulberry silk. The red is woven in as jacquard.
We do not sell printed ties. Every tie we make is woven.

For the cufflinks, yes: a shirt with double (French) cuffs.
The tie works with any shirt. If he never wears French cuffs, the tie alone is the better gift.
Will it arrive before Christmas?
1 to 3 business days to leave Hanoi, then 9 to 15 business days to a US address.
For Christmas delivery in the US, we recommend ordering by November 27.
Duties and returns
Duties: none for you to pay. Folk Form pays the US import duty.
Returns: within 30 days, unused, unwashed and unworn, in the original box. Change-of-mind return postage is paid by you. Choose store credit and it comes with 15% added.

Silk is a completely natural fiber with a production process that does not require the use of chemicals for bleaching or fiber processing. Therefore, silk is not only environmentally friendly but also gentle on the skin.
Distinguishing natural silk from synthetic silk fabrics can be based on various factors such as texture, surface effect, softness, light reflection, and how the fabric reacts to temperature. Among these, the "burn test" is the most effective and definitive method. Here are the characteristics of different materials when subjected to the burn test:
100% Silk
- Burns quickly but extinguishes immediately.
- Leaves ash that smells like burnt hair, crumbles easily, and does not stick to hands.
Silk blended with synthetic fibers
- Melts rather than burns.
- Leaves an unpleasant burnt plastic smell and ash that forms clumps and sticks to hands.
