Dragon Dreams and Dragon of Grace share one Ly Dynasty dragon from Hanoi's imperial citadel. Dragon Dreams sets four large dragons at the corners like a painting, while Dragon of Grace repeats the dragon small, like a fine texture.
Choose a dragon when she has just achieved something worth marking, and the phoenix when you want her to know she was noticed.

Is it real silk?
Yes: 100% Grade 5A mulberry silk. Tested at the Textile Testing Center, Vietnam Textile Research Institute. It is an outside lab.
Every box holds a small silk cutting for testing.
Burn a thread or a corner of it over a sink, away from anything flammable, with no children nearby. Silk burns with a smell like burning hair and leaves a soft ash that crushes between your fingers. Polyester melts into a hard bead. It is a home check, not lab proof.

Does she have to be a scarf person?
Not at all. Four ties take less than a minute each, the headband, the ponytail wrap, the neck knot and the bag roll, and the illustrated guide in the box shows more than 20.
What if I pick the wrong color?
It can come back within 30 days, unused, unwashed and unworn, in the original box. Store credit instead of a refund adds 15%, so a different color is easy.
Why it is $97
Three kinds of handwork set the price. The hem is rolled by hand, close to an hour for each square; both faces are printed, one screen and one pass for every color; and the motif was redrawn from archive sources before a single screen was cut.
Worn once a week for five years, the 26-inch square comes to under 40 cents a wear.
Every square comes from our own Hanoi atelier and travels straight to you. The US import duty is on us.
When will it arrive?
Processing takes 1 to 3 business days. Delivery to the US takes 9 to 15 business days after dispatch.
About two to three and a half weeks. With no date to hit, it arrives whenever it arrives, and that is the charm of it.

How to care for it
Every 3 to 5 wears is enough. Silk does not hold dust.
Cold water with shampoo or body wash, not laundry detergent. Squeeze, never wring. Dry flat in the shade. Iron on the lowest silk setting while it is still damp.
