White Jade is a pale silk jacquard tie, packed with matching cufflinks in one rigid box. Against a dark suit, a pale tie keeps the eye on his face.
The tie is 100% mulberry silk. It measures 8 cm by 145 cm and is made in our own atelier in Hanoi.
We pay the import duty, not you.
Orders leave Hanoi in 1 to 3 business days, then US delivery takes 9 to 15 business days. Shipping is a flat $20 below $90 and free on orders $90+.
White Jade is a color, not a code
White Jade names the color of this tie, a pale tone. It is not a motif, and there is no hidden symbol in it for us to explain.
On a wedding day the thing that matters is contrast. A pale tie reads cleanly against navy, charcoal or black, and in pictures it shows as a clear line rather than a dark stripe.
The weave is jacquard, which means the pattern is built into the silk itself. No printed layer sits on top, so the knot has nothing to crack.
On the day, and after it
With a navy or charcoal suit The pale silk stands out at the altar and in every group picture.
With a black suit Pale on black, for a ceremony that runs into the evening.
The cufflinks They need a shirt with double (French) cuffs. Check the wedding shirt before you order.
Width 8 cm suits almost every lapel. If his suit is very slim, the 6 cm ties are in the silk tie collection.
Is it real silk?
Yes. The tie is 100% mulberry silk, woven as jacquard.

$61 buys the pair: a woven silk tie and cufflinks chosen to match it, packed together.
That is the same price as one of our geometric ties on its own. We pay the US import duty, and the set arrives boxed and ready to hand over.
What if the wedding shirt has button cuffs?
Then the cufflinks will not fit that shirt. They need double (French) cuffs.
If you cannot check, the tie on its own is the safer gift. Our navy square dot tie is also $61.
Will it arrive before the wedding?
1 to 3 business days to leave Hanoi, then 9 to 15 business days to a US address.
Order at least 18 business days, about three and a half weeks, before the date. If the day is fixed, give yourself more room than that.
Duties and returns
Duties: we pay the US import duty, so nothing is owed at the door.
Returns: 30 days, unused, unwashed and unworn, in the original box. If you changed your mind, the return postage is yours. Take store credit instead of a refund and we add 15%.
Giving it on the morning
Ship it to yourself so it is in your hands on the day. It arrives in its box with no price anywhere in the parcel, and a line in Order Notes is copied by hand onto a card.

Dry clean only. Never wash it, by hand or in a machine.
Untie it by reversing the knot, never by pulling it through.

Silk is a completely natural fiber with a production process that does not require the use of chemicals for bleaching or fiber processing. Therefore, silk is not only environmentally friendly but also gentle on the skin.
Distinguishing natural silk from synthetic silk fabrics can be based on various factors such as texture, surface effect, softness, light reflection, and how the fabric reacts to temperature. Among these, the "burn test" is the most effective and definitive method. Here are the characteristics of different materials when subjected to the burn test:
100% Silk
- Burns quickly but extinguishes immediately.
- Leaves ash that smells like burnt hair, crumbles easily, and does not stick to hands.
Silk blended with synthetic fibers
- Melts rather than burns.
