A dragon for what he has done
In Ly Dynasty art the dragon is the emperor's creature, and in our designs it marks an achievement. Dragon of Grace draws the dragons of Hanoi's imperial citadel small and in symmetry, turned toward bodhi leaves above a lotus pedestal, the old carving softened into silk.
The Ly dragon has no scales and three claws, and its body curves like a river in no hurry. Its Vietnamese name, May Hoa Long An, speaks of grace granted to others, a gentler kind of strength; there is more on the meaning of the Dragon of Grace motif in our journal.
From a few feet away the repeat reads as an even blue texture. Lean closer and the dragons appear, which gives him a story to tell whenever someone asks about his shirt.

What $365 buys
It is cut for one man, from silk we print by hand in Hanoi, with the panels placed so the pattern runs unbroken. Then it is finished in our own atelier.
$365 includes shipping and US import duty. Made to measure is 10% more; his usual US size is the listed price.
How do I get his measurements without asking?
You do not have to. Reply to your order confirmation with his usual US size and we cut to that.
How long does it take?
In your usual US size: 1 to 3 business days in Hanoi, then 9 to 15 business days to a US address. Allow up to 18 business days, about three and a half weeks.
Cut to your measurements: add 3 to 5 business days of tailoring once your measurements are confirmed.
For Father's Day, the third Sunday of June, order by mid-May.
What if it does not fit him?
In your usual US size: return within 30 days, unworn and unwashed, in the original box. Change-of-mind return postage is yours, and store credit adds 15%.

Dry cleaning is recommended. Tell the cleaner it is printed silk, not cotton.
If you wash it yourself, hand wash it in cold water, never in a machine, and dry it in the shade.
