Most silk squares lay a deep ground and draw on top in a lighter color. This one reverses it: warm orange becomes the field and navy becomes the line, so the square reads as a block of glowing color with a fine structure inside, like sunset through a lattice window.
The drawing and the phrase match the navy version, arranged the opposite way. This is by far the brighter of the two, the one to choose when she loves to be noticed.

Four ways to tie a 22-inch square
The bag handle On a black or navy bag, a narrow diagonal roll spiraled up the handle to a small bow glows from the far end of a street.
The ponytail or topknot Wind it around the elastic two times after a diagonal roll and knot it on top; against dark hair the orange is at its most vivid.
The neckerchief A corner-to-corner fold rolled from the long edge, wrapped once and knotted at the side of the throat, loveliest over white, cream or black.
The wrist Two turns and a knot at the wrist, warm orange beside a gold bangle.

A light ground asks the most of our printers, since every line shows, and it rewards them by letting the drawing be read from across a room.

English has a single near equivalent, peace of mind, and it now belongs to warranties, alarm systems and insurance, where it means handing the worry to someone else.
Thanh binh nhu y has nothing to sell. It is the blessing an older person gives a younger one at the new year, or writes on a gift for a beginning, a new house, a new job, a marriage, a child: may it go the way you hoped.
So a dragon congratulates, a phoenix describes a person, and this square hopes on someone's behalf, a warmth English rarely says aloud.
Where warm orange belongs
All black The most striking pairing: black lets the orange glow unrivaled, and the navy in the drawing ties it to anything blue she wears.
Denim and white Two plain pieces, faded denim and a white shirt, with one warm square for every day.
Cream or camel Warm on warm, softer than black and lovely when high contrast feels like too much.
Navy tailoring The navy within the drawing echoes a navy jacket, so the scarf looks chosen for it.

The edge does not shrink with the size, so a small square carries proportionally more hand-rolled hem, and a light ground asks for extra care at the press. We make it in our own atelier in Hanoi, post it straight to you, and pay the US import duty.
Thanh Binh Nhu Y, in two halves
Each half of the phrase has its own meaning.
Thanh binh is peace and calm, the plain word for a quiet town or an easy year.
Nhu y is the wish fulfilled, a phrase that runs through East Asian ornament for things turning out exactly as hoped.

Washing Hand wash only, in cold water, using shampoo or a gentle body wash rather than laundry detergent. Detergent enzymes are designed to break down protein, and silk is a protein fiber. Never machine wash. Squeeze, never wring. Dry in shade, never in sun. Iron on the lowest silk setting while still faintly damp. A light ground shows hair oil sooner than a dark one, so worn in hair this wants washing more often than the navy.
Returns Thirty days from delivery, unused and unwashed, in the original box. If the fault is ours, a flaw in the silk, a print error, a seam that failed, postage goes both ways on us and you get a replacement or a full refund. Changed your mind? Thirty days, return postage yours, and if you take store credit instead of a refund we add fifteen percent. One condition: it comes back unused, unwashed and unworn, in its original box.
