Why a phoenix for the women beside you
The phoenix belongs to women in Vietnamese art. It was the empress's bird, partner to the emperor's dragon, and it stands for grace and good times.
Ours comes from Ly and Tran Dynasty temple carving, drawn in the flowing Ly style, moving through cloud with a pearl.
The short version: it means things are well. On a wedding day, that is the right wish for everyone standing up with you.

Is it real silk?
Yes. 100% Grade 5A mulberry silk. It was tested by an outside lab. That lab is the Textile Testing Center, Vietnam Textile Research Institute.

Will they suit different dresses?
Pink, purple and green all sit well with blush, lilac and sage. Tied in the hair, just a little color shows.
Why $57 each
Each twilly is printed by hand, a screen and a pass for every color. Our studio redrew the phoenix from archive sources first.
A narrow ribbon, yet its whole edge is rolled and stitched by hand.
It is all made in our Hanoi atelier and shipped direct, with the duty paid by us.
Will they arrive before the wedding?
1 to 3 business days of processing in Hanoi, then 9 to 15 business days to a US address.
Allow up to 18 business days, about three and a half weeks. Ship to yourself and hand them out at the rehearsal dinner.
Duties and returns
Duties: we pay the US import duty, so you owe nothing at the door.
Returns: 30 days, unused, unwashed and unworn, in the original box. Change-of-mind return postage is paid by you. Choose store credit instead of a refund and we add 15%.

How it arrives
It arrives gift boxed, the twilly folded in tissue. A story card names the motif and its dynasty. A care card explains washing. Nothing to wrap.
Sending it to each of them? Ship to her address and bill to yours. Your message goes in Order Notes, and we write it by hand. No price in the parcel.
How to care for it
Wash it after 3 to 5 wears. Use cold water and a little shampoo or body wash.
Squeeze the water out; never wring. Dry it flat in the shade. Iron on the lowest silk setting while slightly damp.
