The lid lifts, the tissue falls back, and a deep blue tie lies in the box with a pale chain pattern that surfaces only as it tilts toward the light.

Deep blue goes with almost anything, and this one wears well with lighter clothes too: tan suits, cream trousers, a linen shirt.
The chain pattern is a small geometric repeat woven into the silk. It keeps a plain blue from looking flat.

A chain pattern, plainly
Chain is a geometric pattern of linked shapes, and it carries no symbolic meaning. The reason to choose it is how it wears and who opens the box.
Its job is texture. On a deep color a small pale pattern adds depth, so the tie stays calm and shows a fine texture up close.
The chain is woven into the silk itself, so it shows at the knot as well as down the blade.
With lighter clothes
Tan or stone suit Deep blue against tan, a clear and relaxed contrast.
Navy blazer Blue on navy sits close in tone, with the cream chain giving the tie its own line.

Duties: none for you to pay. Folk Form pays the US import duty.
Returns: within 30 days, unused, unwashed and unworn, in the original box. Change-of-mind return postage is paid by you. Choose store credit and it comes with 15% added.

Yes. A tie needs no size, which makes it the easiest silk gift to get right. It arrives in a rigid gift box with a story card. Add a message at checkout and we write it by hand. There is never a price inside the parcel.
Every tie is 100% mulberry silk jacquard: the pattern is woven into the cloth rather than printed on top, so there is no ink layer to crack at the knot. Each one is made in our Hanoi atelier.
8cm is the classic width and suits almost every lapel. 6cm is slimmer, for narrow lapels and slim-cut suits.
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, unworn, in its original box. If something is our fault, we pay postage both ways. On U.S. orders under $100 we also offer a gift exchange: if it is not right for him or her, email Folkformint@gmail.com with your order number and we issue store credit for the full price of the piece, and you do not need to send it back.
