The phoenix, and why it works at work
Phoenix Dance comes from temple carving of the Ly and Tran Dynasties in northern Vietnam, the period that built the One Pillar Pagoda. The phoenix was carved on beam ends, stair flanks and roof corners.
It carries no religious weight. It was there to say the country was at peace and doing well, and that there was beauty worth noticing. It asks nothing of whoever wears it.
That makes it an easy print for an office. Purple is a deep ground, and under a dark jacket the motif shows as a band of color rather than a statement.

A tank takes less silk than a shirt or a dress, which is why it costs less. The printing does not get simpler: the phoenix is still printed by hand, one color per screen.

How long does delivery take?
One size: 1 to 3 business days in Hanoi, then 9 to 15 business days to a US address. Allow up to 18 business days, about three and a half weeks.
Made to measure: add 3 to 5 business days of tailoring before dispatch.
What if it does not suit me?
One size: return within 30 days, unworn and unwashed, in the original box. Change-of-mind return postage is yours, and store credit adds 15%.
Made to measure: outside the 30-day return, and one complimentary alteration is included instead.

How to care for a silk tank
Dry cleaning is recommended. A small piece like this cleans quickly.
If you wash it yourself, hand wash it in cold water, never in a machine, and dry it in the shade.
