A motif for transformation
The phoenix stands for transformation and new beginnings. Phoenix Dance takes it from temple carving of the Ly and Tran Dynasties, the period of the One Pillar Pagoda, drawn in the soft, flowing Ly style.
Later dynasties drew the bird bolder and heavier. The Ly version is graceful and light, which is why it sits well on a shirt you will wear week after week.
Purple takes it into an office without any effort.

Every shirt is cut to order in our Hanoi atelier. Select Made to measure, then reply to your order confirmation with your bust, waist and preferred sleeve and body length. Our team confirms within one business day, and tailoring adds 3 to 5 business days before dispatch. Once your measurements are confirmed, we send a secure link for the 10% made-to-measure surcharge. Made-to-measure pieces are not covered by our 30-day return and include one complimentary alteration instead. Same silk, same hand-printed panel, for an extra 10% of the listed price.
Is it real silk?
Yes, 100% mulberry silk. The shirt is cut from our hand-printed Phoenix Dance silk.

Every color of the phoenix is printed by hand through its own screen, and the print is matched across the panels of the shirt.
The shirt is cut to order and sewn in our own atelier in Hanoi, then posted to you with the US import duty paid. $215 is the price; made to measure is 10% more.
Will it arrive before I start?
S, M or L: 1 to 3 business days before it leaves Hanoi, then 9 to 15 business days to a US address.
Made to measure: add 3 to 5 business days of tailoring.
Can I return it?
Standard size: 30-day returns, unworn and unwashed, in the original box. Return postage for a change of mind is paid by you; store credit comes with an extra 15%.
Made to measure: cut for one person, so it sits outside the 30-day return. It includes one complimentary alteration.
