Why a dragon for an anniversary
Dragon Dreams is a wish rather than a boast. The S-shaped mark on the dragon's forehead is the character for thunder, and in the rice fields thunder meant rain and a year that went well.
The dragon comes from the stone of the imperial citadel in Hanoi, Hoang Thanh Thang Long, begun in 1010. It holds a pearl at its mouth, and in the Lotus Sutra that pearl is given away, not hoarded.
After twelve years together, a wish for more good years is the right message. Pink and turquoise keeps it light.

Printed by hand in our Hanoi studio, one screen per color, matched across the panels, then cut to order in our own atelier. That is the work in the price.

What if I get her size wrong?
One size covers US 4 to 14, and the chart above gives both the waist and the hip range.
If she is outside that range, made to measure is the answer, but the measurements have to come from her.
Will they arrive by our anniversary?
One size: 1 to 3 business days in Hanoi, then 9 to 15 business days to a US address. Allow up to 18 business days, about three and a half weeks.
Made to measure: add 3 to 5 business days of tailoring before dispatch.
Order about three and a half weeks before the date.
And if they still do not fit?
One size: return within 30 days, unworn and unwashed, in the original box. Change-of-mind return postage is yours, and store credit adds 15%.
Made to measure: outside the 30-day return, and one complimentary alteration is included instead.

Caring for silk trousers
Dry cleaning is recommended. A good cleaner will press the wide leg properly.
If you wash them yourself, hand wash them in cold water, never in a machine, and dry them in the shade.
