A story to tell when a guest asks
Guests will ask. The answer: a Ly Dynasty dragon, from the stone of Hoang Thanh Thang Long, the imperial citadel in Hanoi begun in 1010, redrawn by hand in our studio from archive photographs.
Four dragons turn toward a bodhi leaf at the center, with lotus and fragrant clouds around them. The bodhi leaf recalls the tree under which the Buddha reached enlightenment.
These are gentle dragons, with no scales and a river's curve. Orange and mallard green give them the warmth of fired clay and deep glaze, which suits a table set for autumn.

You are paying for printing done by hand in Hanoi, one color at a time, on enough silk for two full palazzo legs, and for the time it takes to match the print across them.
Every pair is cut to order in our own atelier. $288 covers US shipping and import duty; made to measure adds 10%.
What about spills at the table?
Blot rather than rub, then hand them to a dry cleaner who knows silk.
Will they arrive before my dinner?
One size: 1 to 3 business days in Hanoi, then 9 to 15 business days to a US address. Allow up to 18 business days, about three and a half weeks.
Made to measure: add 3 to 5 business days of tailoring before dispatch.
For Thanksgiving, order by the end of October.
What if they do not fit?
One size: return within 30 days, unworn and unwashed, in the original box. Change-of-mind return postage is yours, and store credit adds 15%.
Made to measure: outside the 30-day return, and one complimentary alteration is included instead.

How to care for them
Dry cleaning is recommended. Mention the fabric and the print at the counter.
If you wash them yourself, hand wash them in cold water, never in a machine, and dry them in the shade.
