A drawing that rewards a close look
Dragon of Grace is one of our quieter motifs. The Ly Dynasty dragon is drawn small, eight times, and set in symmetry around a center, framed by carved borders, bodhi leaves and a lotus pedestal.
From across a gallery it reads as texture. Up close the drawing resolves: each dragon has three claws, no scales and a flame crest rising from the nose, the detail that marks a dragon as Vietnamese rather than Chinese.
People at openings look closely. When someone asks, the answer is a carving from Hanoi's imperial citadel, begun in 1010, and not a logo.
How to wear it to an opening
With black A black blazer over the shoulders and black flats. Mallard green sits comfortably beside it.
With metal One silver or gold cuff. Skip the necklace and keep the neckline clean.
For a long night on your feet A low block heel. The hem falls just above the ankle at 5'9" and brushes the floor at 5'2".

The standard cut drapes loosely on a bust up to 37 in / 94 cm. There is no waist seam, so it skims the body rather than fitting close.

You are paying for print and cloth. Each color goes on through its own screen, by hand, and the silk is 100% mulberry from top to hem.
The panels are matched so the repeat runs unbroken, and the dress is sewn to order in our Hanoi atelier. It ships direct, and the US import duty is ours, so $386 is final. Made to measure is 10% more.
Will it arrive before the opening?
Standard size: 1 to 3 business days in Hanoi, then 9 to 15 business days to a US address. Allow up to 18 business days in total.
Made to measure: tailoring adds 3 to 5 business days before it ships.
Can I return it?
Standard size: 30-day returns, unworn and unwashed, in the original box. Return postage for a change of mind is paid by you; store credit comes with an extra 15%.
Made to measure: cut for one person, so it sits outside the 30-day return. It includes one complimentary alteration.
