A phoenix from the temple roofs
Remnants of old ridge tiles from temples and palaces show a phoenix offering a pearl among clouds. Phoenix Dance comes from that temple art of northern Vietnam, in the era of the One Pillar Pagoda, Phat Tich and Chua Dam.
Our studio redraws the bird in the flowing Ly style. Its meaning is peace and plenty, with none of the weight of a religious symbol.
Printed on pale green, it looks like spring, which is exactly where it belongs.

This is a wrap skirt. The 86.6 in / 220 cm tie wraps and knots to your own waist, so it fits US 4 through 18 without guesswork. No zip, no fixed waistband, nothing to size wrong.

Pale colors still need every screen: each color of the phoenix is printed by hand in its own pass, across a skirt cut wide enough to wrap and overlap.
We line up the print across the panels, cut to order and sew in our Hanoi atelier, then post it direct with the import duty paid. You pay $289.
Will it arrive in time for spring plans?
One size: 1 to 3 business days to leave Hanoi, 9 to 15 business days to a US address. Order about three and a half weeks before the date.
Custom length: add 3 to 5 business days.
Can I return it?
One size: return it within 30 days, unworn and unwashed, in the original box. Change-of-mind return postage is yours, and store credit adds 15%.
Custom length: made to measure, so it is outside the 30-day return. One complimentary alteration is included.
