Orders leave Hanoi in 1 to 3 business days; delivery to a US address then takes 9 to 15 business days. Shipping is free from $90 and a flat $20 below that.
Why dark red, and why now
Dark red is warmer than black and calmer than bright red. Over a black dress, a cream sweater or a camel coat, it adds color without asking for attention, which is why it works well past the holidays.
Plain silk shows the color at its deepest, with no print to break it up. In low evening light the sheen of the silk does the work that sparkle does on other jewelry.
If you prefer a pattern, the printed red necklace is $75 and carries our hand screen-printed silk.

What you pay for is the hand work: about 180 beads, covered and closed one by one, knotted onto the cord. The strand has no metal, no stone and no plating.
Our printed necklaces carry an extra step, screen printing, and cost $75. Plain dark red is $64.

Will it arrive by Christmas?
1 to 3 business days to leave Hanoi, 9 to 15 business days to reach a US address.
That adds up to 18 business days at most, about three and a half weeks. For Christmas delivery in the US, we recommend ordering by November 27.
Duties and returns
Duties: Folk Form pays the US import duty. Nothing extra at the door.
Returns: 30 days, unused and unworn, in the original box. If it is a change of mind, you pay the return postage. Store credit adds 15%.
Wrapping it, or not
No wrapping needed: it arrives gift boxed. To send it straight to her, put her address in shipping and yours in billing, and leave your message in Order Notes for us to handwrite on a card. The parcel has no price in it.
