Bridesmaid gifts are hard for the same reason every time: several people, several tastes, one budget. Jewelry usually means guessing metals and lengths for all of them at once.
A silk necklace takes most of that guessing away. There is one length, 44 inches, and it goes on over the head. Here the silk is plain turquoise, hand wrapped over roughly 180 wooden beads, and it can be worn on the day and long after.
We pay the import duty, not you.
Two or more necklaces in one order pass $90, so shipping is free. A single necklace ships for a flat $20. Each order leaves Hanoi within 1 to 3 business days and spends 9 to 15 business days in transit.
Why turquoise works for a wedding party
Turquoise sits comfortably with most bridesmaid colors: navy, blush, sage, champagne and white. At a summer wedding it looks fresh, and in the autumn it lifts darker dresses.
Silk has a soft sheen rather than the glint of metal. That keeps the bridesmaids' necklaces quiet next to the bride's own jewelry instead of competing with it.

On the day, and after it

No sizes to collect from anyone. The loop is 44 inches for every bridesmaid.
Is it real silk?
Yes, mulberry silk in solid turquoise, covering every bead and knotted between them by hand.

Why $64 each
Nearly all of it is hand work: about 180 beads per necklace, every one covered, sealed and knotted on by a person, not a machine.
There is no precious metal to pay for. Printed necklaces sit at $75, reflecting the screen printing done on their silk. Plain silk is $64.
We make them in our own Hanoi atelier and ship them straight to you.
Will they arrive before the wedding?
1 to 3 business days in Hanoi, 9 to 15 business days in transit to a US address.
Count 18 business days back from the day you plan to hand them out, about three and a half weeks. May, June, September and October are busy wedding months, so leave margin.
Duties and returns
Duties: Folk Form pays the US import duty on the whole order.
Returns: 30 days, unused and unworn, in the original box. Change-of-mind return postage is paid by you. With store credit, we add 15%.
Handing them out
Every order arrives gift boxed. For a separate box and bag for each bridesmaid to open, add a gift box and bag set per person. Sending each one to a different address? That means separate orders, and any order under $90 ships for $20.
For the maid of honor The same necklace as everyone else, or a different color to set her apart.
For each bridesmaid A thank-you she can wear again without it looking like a wedding souvenir.
For the mothers A silk square from Lotus Serenade, our mandarin duck motif, which has meant a marriage that holds for a thousand years.
How to care for it
No water, ever. Wipe with a damp cloth if needed.
Hairspray, perfume and lotion before it, not after.
Store it flat in its box between weddings.
