Turquoise and orange, marbled into silk.
Some people are easy to buy for once you notice they are never in neutrals. Turquoise and orange is a pairing for exactly that person: two strong colors that sit well together because one is cool and the other is warm.
The silk is marble dyed, so the colors run into each other rather than sitting in stripes, and each bead turns out a little differently. Roughly 180 beads, hand wrapped over wood, make up the 44-inch loop, and there is no clasp.
We pay the import duty, not you.
Dispatch from Hanoi takes 1 to 3 business days and US delivery 9 to 15 business days more. Shipping is a flat $20 under $90. From $90 it is on us.
Two colors that need nothing else
Turquoise and orange carry an outfit on their own, so the easiest way to wear them is over something simple: white linen, denim, navy, olive or black.
Marbling softens the pairing. Where a printed stripe would be sharp, the dye here blurs from one color into the next, so the strand looks bright from a distance and gentle up close.
Marble necklaces are $64, the same as plain silk. Printed silk necklaces are $75.

Yes, mulberry silk, marble dyed in turquoise and orange and wrapped around every bead by hand.

Why $64
Each of about 180 beads is wrapped and closed by hand, then knotted onto the cord. That time is the cost. The strand has no metal or stone in it.
Screen-printed silk adds a step, so printed necklaces are $75. Marble-dyed silk is $64, like plain.
All of it happens in our Hanoi atelier, which mails it to you.
Will it arrive for her birthday?
1 to 3 business days to ship, then 9 to 15 business days to a US address.
Order at least 18 business days before the date, about three and a half weeks.
Duties and returns
Duties: the US import duty is paid by Folk Form.
Returns: 30 days, unused and unworn, in the original box. Change-of-mind returns travel at your cost. Store credit adds 15%.
